About

Matthew Gorelik An executive with more than two decades of experience in brokerage and private banking, Matthew Gorelik is co-founder of TownshipCapital, LLC, a global real estate private equity firm headquartered in Los Angeles. Matthew Gorelik leads the company as chairman and chief executive officer. His executive team includes co-founder and managing partner Christian Wenger, a 10-year real estate veteran who also owns a multi-family development company.

Township Capital is currently targeting real estate developments that are fresh, have a lot of interest growing, and have an element of adaptive-reuse in the structure and appeal. Their reach currently spans the country, with 3 different headquarters in Los Angeles, California, Bingham Farms, Michigan, and Chicago, Illinois.

Township Capital was inspired directly from the needs of clients that Matthew Gorelik consistently found to be a roadblock in financial ventures. He set out to create the first premier Real Estate Investment Bank in the United States so that investors and real estate moguls alike could feel supported through new projects and negotiations.

Since establishing the firm, Matthew Gorelik has worked to cultivate long-term relationships with capital sources such as banks, life insurance companies, agencies, and families. Additionally, he has placed more than $5 billion in structured capital on behalf of real estate owners and operators throughout the United States. To give back to his local community, Matthew Gorelik serves as an ambassador for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and as a board member of the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and traveling.
